Sunday Roast Platter

The Smokehouse is pleased to announce a signature Sunday Lunch, our new Roast Sharing Platter for two, featuring house-smoked meats.

From January 12th until April 20th 2025, The Smokehouse’s Sunday Roast Platter will be the exclusive offering every Sunday. From first sitting at 12:00 until last sitting at 13:45, come and join us for a hearty Roast lunch.

The platter for two features everything you could desire in a Sunday lunch, including smoked feather blade of beef, a whole chicken leg, pork belly, hog in blankets, and all the traditional roast trimmings. Bone marrow gravy adds a touch of luxury. Add a cauliflower cheese gratin for a creamy side dish – or perhaps you’re saving yourself for a house-made sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch sauce, or apple crumble with ice cream.

Three may be a crowd, but not for our Sunday Lunch! Our set Roast platters are scaled up proportionally for each additional head. We also offer a Vegetarian Nut Roast, and a Junior Roast – a choice of either the smoked beef, smoked pork belly, or sausage – together with the trimmings.

How to Book

Bookings for our Sunday Roast service can be made online via OpenTable, our new website booking system, here. Please ensure you inform our team of any allergies or dietary requirements when you make your booking. Parties of more than 8 people cannot book online; please call us on 01747 811767 to make a reservation. Don’t delay – bookings are limited!

A deposit is no longer required when booking, but cancellations within 48 hours of the booking will incur a no-show charge. Full details are shown as part of the online booking process or will be explained if you book by phone.

For those looking for a lighter offering, walk-in breakfast will be served from 09:30 until 10:30 and coffee and cakes will resume from 14:30 until 16:00.
