A summer Saturday special…
The next in our Aviator’s Spotlight series, the Stampe takes pride of place!
Originally designed as a 1930s biplane tourer, a small number of Stampes were produced either side of World War II, finding favour as training aircraft for the Belgian Air Force. Post-war, a further 940 aircraft were built between French and Algerian firms, where the Stampe became a steady favourite with French Aerobatic Clubs before a number were sold second-hand to the UK.
This Saturday, any visiting Stampe is treated to a free landing fee, as we celebrate this smooth and elegant flying machine! PPR as normal, on 01747 811767.
For those coming by road, be advised that this Fly-In is weather dependent. There is no booking required or parking charge in operation. All updates will be made to this page.
